Class 2 have looked at the journey which chocolate takes from Bean to Bar. Finding out how the bean is harvested in the ‘Rainforest’, data collection of taste testing, improving the design of a bar.
The photos here show pupils investigating how ‘changing the state’ helped build structures. The investigation was further developed by using different types of chocolate, comparing strength to build.
Class 2 are making fantastic progress. After only two ‘toot’ sessions they are already producing tunes and playing along to music.
This afternoon Class 2 have been developing their persuasive language using openers which were modelled as a whole class. Each group produced a speech through animation, advert or news report to highlight the importance of recycling, relating to conservation of the Rainforest.

Class 2 have become familiar with the new layout of their classroom and been very busy since Easter. There has been a lot of learning about Rainforests through a range of curriculum areas. All pupils have been working extremely hard and it has been fantastic to see the progress made, these are a few images of this term’s learning.
